It matters for preparation more than for paint. Coorparoo runs character timber, Art Deco flats, post-war brick and new townhouses, sometimes in the same block. Pre-1970 homes need lead paint management, brick needs moisture assessment before coating, and Deco render needs a breathable system. We assess your specific construction rather than applying one method to the street.
We look for rising damp, salt staining and any previous coating that has stopped breathing. Painting a brick wall that is still moving moisture traps it behind the film and the coating lifts within a couple of seasons.
